Our races & events
Spend Hogmanay in our beer tent watching floodlit kids then adult racing, followed by our family friendly Scottish Ibiza party over The Bells.
Kid racing 3pm - 6pm
Adult racing 6pm - 9pm
Hogmanay Party 9pm - 1am
Race entry open to all, newbies to champions, is via British Cycling.
All riders under 16 years get free entry to IRVIZA Party
£20 tickets are for party over the bells
On the evenings of 1st Jan & 2nd Jan join Alan Anderson & Phillip Walker for a pair of special cyclocross related Whisky tastings.
Alan’s Whisky For Dafties shows have sold out many years at the Edinburgh Fringe at around the globe.
Phillip runs Kendal Whisky Festival.
Both are massive bike fans.
Start the year off with the annual Polar Plunge dip in the sea at 11am
Then from 12noon we have our kid relay races & from 2pm our Adult relay races.
Race entry via British Cycling
After the racing we will have a family quiz night, whisky tastings, and live entertainment… as well as our food trucks.
We have onsite overnight parking for campervans with access to water supply and toilets.
Located 150m from event village, start, sign on & beer tent.
There is no grey or black waste disposal onsite, the nearest location is 5 minute drive away at Barrassie beach car park.
Team Parking is located immediately beside sign on and start.
Team parking is for 1 vehicle under 7.5tn & a 6×3 gazebo or awning.
Day Parking - There will be no parking on Marine Drive. Day Parking is for 1 vehicle smaller than 6m only

Come and watch Scottish Champions, British Champions, Irish Champions, and age group World Champions and the best amateurs race the sand, grass, mud and hills of Irvine Beach Park
Alongside them we have age group racing from Under 8s to Masters 70+
How quickly can the run up the Dragon Climb with their bike over their shoulder?
The will also be coffee trailers, food trucks, a cosy warm beer tent and entertainment for the kids.

We will have a BEER TENT underneath the Dragon Run Up with video screens showing live footage from the pits, the finish, and the beach ramp.
There's 75m of beach and lots of fast, technical riding.

know us
The annual Irvine cyclo-cross races have been held at Irvine Beach Park for over two decades, attract 500+ riders most years.
Previous years have also featured the Scottish National Championships in 2015 & 2024, and twice previously hosting British National Trophy Series rounds in 2018 & 2019.
The reigning male British Champion is Scottish. He is also a European and World medalist. Hopefully in 2030 he will race cyclocross at the Winter Olympics.
Our dream is to host the British Championships in 2028 and a UCI World Cup round in season 2030 / 31
