How many 4.167mile laps will you race?

How far around the world will you run?

Every hour on the hour as New Year strikes in another time zone you start another lap.

Run from midday to sunset you make it from Kiribiti in the middle of Pacific Ocean to Perth Western Australia.

Run until midnight and you have completed 50 miles.

Run until dawn and hello Los Angeles.

Run for 24hrs and that’s 100miles.

Solo, Pairs, and maybe even Quads.

Think Strathpuffer, but without the bike, and with a rest between each lap… if you want it.

Back Yard Marathon‍ ‍

If you don’t have an Ultra in you we will also have a BYM which will start at Sunset (5pm) and finish with the 11pm-midnight lap getting you 26 point something miles in time for the New Year.

It’s Scotland. It’s Hogmanay. So of course there will be a beer tent, a ceilidh and all sorts of other stuff.

Everyone who enters before 3rd January 2027 will get FREE ENTRY to our Back Yard test event on Saturday 23rd January 2027 - the cyclocross weekend. The first yard will start at 5pm, the final yard will start at 10pm
